If this occurs you probably have exerted too much pressure on teeth and gums. If you have braces, Oral-B has created an Ortho Brush Head, specially designed to clean around braces and wires.

With pressure control, a 2-minute professional timer and 2 brushing modes it gives you a solid platform to brush correctly as a dentist would recommend. The Oral-B Pro 3000 is the most expensive however it has one more cleaning mode, another brush head refill and a better charging station. This represents the best value for money.
