The biggest question was: who is Pa Salt and how did he adopt such very different girls from all over the world. Kreeg Eszu – I knew the character of Zeus was going to feature a handful of times in the series. The myths suggest that he fathered children with three of the sisters. He was also responsible for turning them into doves and placing them in the sky as stars to help them escape the amorous pursuit of the hunter Orion.

Zeus was also the god who commanded Atlas to hold up the earth and sky on his shoulders. Because it suited my plot, I split the character into two; the billionaire tycoon Kreeg Eszu and his son, Zed Eszu – Kreeg being an anagram of ‘Greek’ and the surname Eszu being an anagram of ‘Zeus’. Maia becomes involved with the disreputable Zed Eszu whilst studying at university. Locations and objectsWhen I was little, I perceived the surrounding life as something quite normal and natural. But there was really nothing natural in our life. On the contrary! It was extremely strange, this life. A bachelor, a middle-aged man, adopts six young girls, brings them here to Switzerland to raise and educate them under one roof. This book spans roughly 80+ years and many continents, so as expected it is full of drama. I love the premise of this series and although it requires the reader to throw plausibility out the window, overall it is an entertaining series and this final installment concluded with all of my questions being answered. That being said, I struggled a bit with a few of the plot points, but even more so with the dialogue which was unrealistic and felt robotic especially in the current timeline particularly the conversations between the sisters, but I also had this issue with the dialogue in “The Missing Sister”. From 1988 to 1998, she was married to actor Owen Whittaker, with whom she had two children, Harry and Bella. From 2000 until her death, she was married to Stephen Riley, with whom she also had two children, Leonora and Kit. Through her second marriage, she also had three stepchildren, Olivia, William and Max. [2] She took a break from writing, returning to it in 2010; her subsequent novels were published under her married name. Ally told Maia only that she had seen Kreeg’s boat next to the titan. Maia looked really upset. Then asked ally to forget about that. D’Apliése – I really wanted to include the Pleiades somewhere, so we came up with the anagram D’Apliése for the sisters’ surname.

The Missing Sister was a bit disappointment to me, as it raised more questions than it gave answers to. I was very looking forward to the closing part of this amazing series. I have to say I am not disappointed. It was well thought through and every loose end was cut. I was so caught up with the story that I couldn't even tell which parts were not written by Lucinda herself. Her son did an amazing job! The Missing Sister, the final book in the series, published in May this year, follows the sextet on a search for another daughter adopted by the wealthy Pa Salt, whose death and burial at sea sparked their quest to solve the mystery of why he adopted girls from all corners of the globe. This is one fascinating story. The author alternates between fiction and history to tell Maia’s story and that of her kin. In this sweeping tale of love and heartaches, the author will let you in Maia’s origin, her current life, and the circumstances that led to her adoption. As you get to know about Maia, you will also accompany her on a journey from Switzerland, to Rio and Paris. The ride may be heartbreaking at some point, but you can bet that it is well worth it. I’m sure that like me, there will be one sister in particular you will most identify with, and a sister you like the least. However, the beauty of writing about the girls is that each of them have their own unique strengths and weaknesses. Just as we all do. Firstly I would like to say thank you and congratulations to Harry Whittaker for completing his mothers final instalment of The Seven Sisters. I am sure she would be incredibly proud.

Lucinda was born in Lisburn, County Down, and spent her first few years in the nearby village of Drumbeg. Her mother, Jane (nee Cottham), and great-aunt had been professional actors, her grandmother was an opera singer and her great-uncle was chief lighting designer at the Royal Opera House. The Pavilion – in the Seven Sisters myths, Maia is often described as isolated and living alone in a cave. So I created The Pavilion, a small house in the grounds of Atlantis where my Maia could pursue her solitary career as a translator, before being drawn out into the wider world by the clues that Pa Salt leaves her. Jens lived in an apartment in Paris and took lessons from Augustus Terron. Baroness von Gottfried introduced him to everyone. Kreeg Eszu’s boat, the Olympus – the name of the yacht was taken from Mount Olympus in Greece, which was the mythical home of the principal Greek gods. Zeus was the king of the gods and the ruler of Mount Olympus. The Greek god of the sea, Poseidon, is another who is purported to have sired children with one or more of the Seven Sisters. Unfortunately, there’s a long-standing association with a certain disaster movie involving a ship of the same name! So I decided I couldn’t include it in the story, using instead the equivalent Roman god, Neptune.

The Seven Sisters is the first book in the spellbinding Seven Sisters series, inspired by the mythology of the famous star constellation. It is followed by The Storm Sister. Viskas paslaptis atskleista. Ir kaip jaučiamės? Majos sūnaus įvaikinimas. Atlantas, puikiai žinojo ir pats padėjo surasti šeimą, kurį įvaikins berniuką. Tačiau advokatui, surasti šeimą vėl prireikė metų ar kelių. Ir vėl klausimas, ką veikia advokatas? Follow the second of the seven sisters on a journey to her past. This story explores Grieg, a Norwegian composer who stood out as a historical figure. The book also starts to give details about Pa Salt’s life and the role he played in the girl’s past. Other notable characters you will interact with in this book include Anna, Tom, and Felix. It is impressive that Ally finds living blood relatives who offer more details about her past. As you get deeper into Ally’s life, it becomes easy to understand her motivations and the woman she has become. There is a lot she will be forced to deal with in the course of the story. However, her gains and losses will only push her to become a better person. As for the writing, it was rudimentary and slightly uncomfortable to read. It didn't have any particular flow, and I found it immensely repetitive, especially when involving peoples names.

He then asks ally to go above to look whether it is the titan, and that when she confirms, he can send out a radio message to the titan.
